NEW JERSEY CHAPTER OF CLMA

We are hosting a SMART Lab session on Friday, November 2, 2007 on the "Power of Business Literacy", sponsored by a national grant from Siemens Medical.
This seminar will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Mahwah, NJ starting at 9 am with Continental Breakfast. The program begins at 10 and concludes at 3:30. Lunch and breaks are included in the registration fee.
"The Power of Business Literacy" is a 4-hour, interactive case-based workshop introducing the laboratory professional to the concept of business planning including strategic analysis, marketing, operational planning and financial analysis. It is geared to help technically trained laboratorians develop business skills and confidence to present their business ideas to top level administrators.
The chapter is holding 2 new member raffles which will be drawn at the conclusion of the seminar. Any new chapter member (joining in 2007) will be entered in the ThinkLab raffle to win registration to the 2008 ThinkLab conference in Atlanta, GA ($699 value). New chapter members joining between September 1, 2007 and the fall seminar will also be entered in a raffle to win a dues scholarship - become an active member of the chapter and your first year's dues are rebated to you ($165 value).
